David A. Golas
Dave was born and raised in Manchester, CT. He attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT. After graduating from UCONN School of Law, he worked as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. In 1969 Dave founded the firm and has been in private practice ever since. Dave has a wide range of legal knowledge and experience from over 40 years of active practice. Dave’s practice focuses on criminal and white collar defense in both state and federal courts and contested custody and divorce matters. He has defended clients in cases alleging manslaughter and crimes of violence, drug offenses and complex white collar litigation. Dave has extensive experience and has tried cases to verdict involving divorce, child custody, personal injury and criminal defense. He has defended clients in the trial courts and has argued appeals in the Connecticut Appellate Court and Federal Court of Appeals in the Second Circuit in New York City.
Dave is regarded as a seasoned litigator and trial attorney and also as an effective negotiator.
Dave lives in Manchester, CT with his wife and he enjoys boating, tailgating at Trinity football games and time spent with his four grandchildren.
